Bought a waist belt leach that was about 18” too short. This has the same kind of bungee as the leash, and so the two go together well. I like the frog clip - interesting engineering went into it.

I was just browsing when I ran into this extender. I figured I would try this out while training my boyfriend's puppy to walk on a leash without pulling. Let's just say, it was a fail. But it works far better with the dogs who is already leash trained. With his untrained 6 month old puppy, she thinks because it is stretchy that she can keep pulling. With the trained dogs, I believe they just noticed it for what it is, just an extension of their leash. It is really well made with a durable D-ring and the nylon. My favorite part is the quick-release clip. The D-ring and clip seems like really good metal. I'd recommend this extender to anyone looking for one.

This is a nice heavy duty bungee dog leash extension. It does a really good job of shock absorbing for when your dog reacts to a squirrel or something. It helps with that immediate pull on the leash when you least expect it. It really lessens that initial tug. The tension seems to be a good amount so that it isn’t too weak but at the same time, not too strong where it is ineffective. It seems to be well made and is holding up well. The latch is easy to use but I feel that it is a bit too big. You squeeze the sides to open it, and then push it into collar loop and it will automatically close as it presses against the inside part. It is sturdy and strong but I think it could have been made a little smaller. Other than that minor complaint, this is a great extension leash.

Very sturdy- just what I needed for my GSP!

I have an energetic 20-pound dog that likes to tug a bit when we go on walks (yes, I know I should train him, but he's not the most trainable small dog). I've heard not to use retractable leashes, so I thought this would be a good go-between. While it is big and fairly heavyweight, and probably intended for larger dogs, I appreciate being able to clip this onto his leash to give him a little more room to run when appropriate. It looks very sturdy and well made to me, but I'm not testing it on a large dog, either. Because my smaller dog's leash is not as bulky/large, it is a little bit of a challenge to get it hooked up to his harness and lease.

This bungee dog leash extension is a great tool! Our puppy, a 40 lb boxer mix who is only 8 months old, is still learning how to walk on a leash. He is a spaz anyway, so on a leash he can pull you over. This extension is such a great idea! It allows me to give me gentle correction without a harsh tug on his collar. It is extremely sturdy made of tough nylon with a clip for the leash and a toggle clip that is much easier to attach to his collar than a regular leash clip. I love that the clip rotates and his leash doesn't tangle as much. We have people doing construction on the back of our house, so we've had to take the dogs out front to potty. This thing is amazing! He seems a lot more comfortable with it and isn't as concerned when I clip it on him - yeah, he's still a baby so everything freaks him out - even the sound of a leash clip on his neck.

I got this hoping spring walks go a little better. He like to pull and when he's excited it takes a bit to calm him down. This leash extender works great to give him a little room but also keep him close. He feels the resistance and slows down.

This product is made very well. Top quality. The latch on it worked really well. Helped me as a senior walking the dog. Gives you leverage. Allows movement of your dog to be more controlled without pulling you over. A real game changer for me. Highly recommend!

I got this to make potty trips with our 5-month-old beagle less of a wrestling match. Clipping onto her collar while she’s bouncing around is usually a hassle.The clip on this extension is the standout. It’s large, easy to control, and the hardware feels thick and solid in your hand. It looks and feels built for strength.The issue for us is the size of the collar ring. The ring on her current collar is about 5/8 inch in diameter, and the clip simply won’t fit through it. So I haven’t actually been able to use this yet. It does fit the next collar we have ready, which has about a 1-inch diameter ring. That makes this feel more like a 15 to 20 pound dog solution than something suited for a small puppy collar.I can’t comment on long-term durability since it hasn’t seen real walks. That said, based on the construction alone, it appears well made and ready for a stronger, larger dog.

I ordered this leash extender mainly because of the frog clasp that connects to my dog's harness. She recently has figured out how to roll on her back and get the standard type of clasp unhooked, but she cannot do that with this one. The clasp itself is easy to work and is sturdy and heavy weight. The rest of the leash extender is also very well made. The nylon is thick and strong and the stitching is secure. It has a nice amount of elasticity - enough to lessen the shock when she pulls the leash, but not so much that I lose control of her. The D-ring on the other end is also sturdy and well made. Overall, it is nice looking, too. I am pleased with it and would definitely recommend it.

Got this for a Boxer that has more strength than I could ever dream of having. Can't use an extendable leash because she pulls harder than the mechanics, so we have a fixed leash, but I almost get my arm ripped out when she see's something worth her IMMEDIATE attention. What a neck saver this PetBonus Bungee Dog Leash Extension is. My dog knows two speeds, Unmoving Lump, and Full Speed Ahead.There is only one thing that I wish were different. My dog is a Shih Tzu and this product is just a little bit heavy and overkill for him so I wish they had a smaller, lighter size for smaller dogs.The other thing you should be aware of is if you need to make a quick correction by giving a little jerk on the leash, this will dampen it and the dog won't be able to feel it.That being said my dog loves going out to 'play ball' but because of where we live he has to stay on a leash.This bungee leash extension is perfect for the times the ball gets a little too far ahead of him. He used to about pull me off of my feet, but this has saved me, and him from so many hard jerks. I definitely recommend this bungee extension, especially if you have a full speed ahead dog like I do.

This 18" Bungee Dog Leash Extension by "PetBonus" is great for small and medium sized dogs or large dogs that don't pull too hard. My dog on the other hand is just too big and strong for me to utilize the bungee aspect of it. He weighs around 100 lbs and he is very strong. That being said, the elasticity still remained after a 2 mile walk with animals to excite him along the way.The frog clip is a good strong clip and it functions well. Absolutely nothing wrong with it at all. The only advice I can really give to anyone purchasing this product is to know your dog's weight and pulling tendencies because if it is a beast this may not be beneficial to you. But if your dog is small, medium, or a light pulling large dog it is perfect.
